What does Our Local Club Do?
|
|
The Club's
charter date is October 13, 1951. We have 36 current
members. Our Club was organized by the Zonta Club of Boston
and the Charter was presented by Gladys Posie of Trenton,
NJ.
This year we have two fundraisers, our International Women's Day
where we honor a woman on the Island whose accomplishments
deserves merit. We are also making and selling cookies
for our Cookie Fests to benefit the Martha's Vineyard
Hospital. So far we have had two Cookie Fests and are
planning another for Valentines Day.
These fundraisers will help fund our club's yearly
scholarship program and our service fund.
